Job Description

To support the expansion of our Building Engineering – MEP team, we seek high-caliber candidates for the role of Engineer. Based on their experience, successful candidates will be assigned to specific sub-functions.

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Fire Engineering
  • Sustainability

Responsibilities

  • Design: Create designs for building engineering projects, including Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, MVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, and Fire Services.
  • Technical Studies: Conduct feasibility studies, life cycle analyses, and planning for building engineering projects.
  • Documentation: Prepare study reports, design reports, technical notes, and public consultation papers under supervisor guidance.
  • Tendering: Develop tender documents and technical specifications, evaluate tenders, and prepare tender assessment reports.
  • Project Management: Oversee project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in design and project management, preferably from a consultancy or contractor firm.
  • Professional Certification: Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
  • Languages: Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with large-scale building, infrastructure, healthcare, or international projects, and familiarity with BIM is advantageous.
  • Position Variability: Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Engineer II role.
